The synthesis process of polysiloxane imine block copolymers is as follows:
Physical blending: In the field of silicone modified PI, there is more research on copolymerization modification than physical blending. The organic silicon components used for blending modification are usually modified. Used in the field of PI blending: silicone Imide copolymer, silicone carbonate copolymer, silicone Imide copolymer, etc. Mixing these copolymers with polyimide in a certain proportion can improve the surface properties and mechanical properties of polyimide, such as oxygen plasma resistance, moisture resistance, adhesion, heat resistance, impact resistance and processability. Blending methods include solution blending, mechanical blending, and research is also underway on methods such as IPN and lamination.

Sol gel method: Sol gel method is an important method to synthesize nano Hybrid material under mild conditions. Inorganic phase is formed by hydrolysis and condensation of metal alkoxy compounds, and organic phase is formed by polymerization.

Main chain silicon containing polyimide
The main chain containing polyimide refers to the introduction of silicon containing groups into the main chain skeleton structure of polyimide. Such as dimethyl silicon group, disiloxane, polysiloxane and Zirconium(IV) silicate. The introduction of these groups into the backbone of polyimide will lead to significant changes in its properties.

(1)The polyimide synthesized by introducing silicon containing diamine monomer into the main chain structure is mainly through the synthesis of monomer containing siloxane component diamine and silicon burning component diamine. 1,3-bis (Y-aminopropyl) -1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane (BAPTDS) is an active diamine monomer containing silicon that has been reported earlier and extensively studied.

(2)Active dianhydride monomers containing siloxanes are relatively rare. There are only a few. Perhaps the synthesis conditions are even more difficult than diamine.
